Cooker hood cleaning and maintenance
Unplug the appliance.

When the filters are cleaned and replaced
(
see chapter
«
Filters and filter maintenance »), clean the accessable
parts of the hood to avoid inflammation and keep the
appliance in optimal conditions.

Use warm water and detergens to wash the appliance
.
Should there be stubborn stains (old spots), use a detergent
specific for glass.
Do not rub badly fouled surface, soak
it
with water

Do not use abrasive products which may damage the
surface of the hood.
❑
Warning: Do not use alcohol to clean plastic surfaces,
as it can lead to dark spots.
Attention! Keep the kitchen well ventilated and do not leave
open flames
The remote control should be cleaned only with a humid soft
cloth
(non-
concentrated detergent
).
Do not use polishes for stainless steel.
Stainless steel surfaces
:

Use non abrasive, non concentrated detergent for
stainless steel.
Wipe the surface in the same direction it’s been polished.
Do not use any of the following materials to clean stainless
steel: metallic sponges, sand, soda, acid or detergents containing
bleach
!
Aluminium and plastic surfaces
:

Use soft a cloth specific for glass as it doesn’t leave fibres, or
a
microfiber cloth.

Do not use dry tissues
❑
Use non
-
concentrated detergent for glass. Do not use
aggressive, acid or corrosive detergents.
❑
Do not use abrasive cleaners.
