4.6 Fitting the lid
WARNING
Risk of crushing!
Your hands and fingers could get
caught.
▶ Do not reach into the pot when
lowering the lid.
Tip:
Familiarise yourself with the
parts of the lid.

Requirement: The pot has been in-
serted. → Page 91

Insert the outer lid with seal fully
into the lid holder on the pot
and close.

the lid holder.

Place the cover for the outer lid on
the outer lid with seal.

Turn the cover for the outer lid
clockwise towards until it no-
ticeably engages.

Place the inner lid on the cover for
the outer lid.

Turn the inner lid clockwise until it
engages.

4.7 Connecting the appliance
to the electricity supply
Connect your appliance to the power
supply to start it up for the first time.
1.
Insert the mains plug of the appli-
ance's power cable in a socket
nearby.
Make sure that the power cord is
not pulled too tight and is not
covered up.
To adjust the cable length, push
the power cord into the power
cord storage compartment.

Check the mains plug is inserted
properly.
4.8 Performing initial start-up
When switching on the appliance for
the first time or after resetting to the
factory settings, the tutorial will ap-
pear. The tutorial explains all import-
ant functions and tools and will
prompt you to select settings.
