The Administrative Tools section is different for the Administrator and Super Users than for
other users. The remainder of the user tree is the same for all users.
6.2.3 Use the management view
Management view displays information and settings menus according to the items you select
in the tree view. It provides the management interface for the enclosure and its components,
including creation, maintenance, deletion, and monitoring of disk arrays and logical drives.
Through the function tabs, you can access different management view to operate.
Click the
Help link to the right of the tabs in management view to access online help for the
function currently displayed.
6.3 Choose a display language
The Management GUI is available in the following languages:

English
– Simplified Chinese
To change the display language:
1.
Click the Language drop-down menu in the Header.
2. Highlight the language you prefer.
Management GUI displays in the chosen language.
6.4 View the event frame
To view the event frame, click Show Event Frame in the Header. To hide the event frame, click
Hide Event Frame in the Header.
In the event frame, events are listed and sorted by:

Device - Disk array, logical drive, physical drive, controller, etc.
– Event ID - The hexadecimal number that identifies the specific type of event
– Severity :
– Information - Information only, no action is required
– Warning - User can decide whether or not action is required
– Minor - Action is needed but the condition is not serious at this time
– Major - Action is needed now
– Critical - Action is needed now and the implications of the condition are serious
– Fatal - Non-Recoverable error or failure has occurred
