24.3 Off menu
You can turn areas off simply by entering your passcode or by
using the Off menu. With either option, you turn off all areas in
which you have authority.
You must enter your personal passcode and enter through a
designated entry door to prevent an instant alarm condition.
Opening the door starts entry delay time and the keypad emits a
pulsing “beep” tone to remind you to turn the system off. Enter
your passcode before the entry delay time expires.
If you enter through the wrong door or fail to turn off (disarm)
before the entry delay time expires, an alarm occurs. If this
happens, silence the alarm (by entering your personal passcode
and pressing [ENTER]) and call your security company to notify
them that you do not have an emergency situation.
Turning off the security system (disarm) with your passcode:
1. Enter your personal passcode.
2. Press [ENTER] within 8 sec of entering your passcode. The
display returns to idle text.
24.3.1 Turn Off
You can use the Turn Off menu to turn off all areas in which you
have authority.
