The maximum volume flow rate can also be readjusted dur-
ing operation.
The amount of material squeezed out also depends on the
size of the dispensing nozzle opening.
Switching On and Off
To
start operation
of the caulking gun, press the On/Off
switch
(13)
.
To
switch off
the caulking gun, let go of the On/Off switch
(13)
. Once you let go of the On/Off switch, the rack is
moved back a short way to remove the pressure from the
sealing compound. This ensures that no more sealing com-
pound is squeezed out after you let go of the On/Off switch.
The locking mechanism
(14)
can be used to lock the On/Off
switch
(13)
to prevent it from being switched on uninten-
tionally.
Temperature-dependent Overload Protection
If the permissible temperature is exceeded, the caulking gun
switches off. Let the caulking gun cool down and then switch
the caulking gun back on.
Working Advice
u
Comply with the manufacturer's instructions regard-
ing the material to be applied.
Certain materials can
only be used within a certain temperature range or can
only be applied to specific surfaces.
u
Open and use the cartridges and sachets (foil bags) in
accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
u
Only trim the nozzle if the material is securely within
the barrel for sachets (foil bags)/cartridges.
u
Attach the power tool to the hanging hook (9) when
working on a ladder, for example.
To do this, open the
hanging hook
(9)
as far as necessary in order to be able to
hang the caulking gun securely.
Adjust the volume flow rate to ensure a smooth and consist-
ent application of material in one application.
Ensure that the surface onto which the material is to be ap-
plied is clean, dry and free from grease.
Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the front barrel cap, the dispensing nozzles, the barrel
for sachets (foil bags)/cartridges and the rack with the plun-

The battery and the handle can be cleaned using a damp
cloth.
The caulking gun is maintenance-free and does not contain
