TORQUING SEQUENCE
ADJUSTMENT
RAVE Valve
787 Engine
Turn the red plastic knob no. 17 until it is flush to
the valve cover.
1. Knob flush with the cover
947 Engine
Turn the red plastic knob no. 17 until it is fully
tightened.
1. Knob fully tightened
This will ensure the correct preload on the return
spring
no. 19 in order to open and close the RAVE
valve at the proper RPM.
Combustion Chamber Volume
Measurement
The combustion chamber volume is the region in
the cylinder head above the piston at Top Dead
Center. It is measured with the cylinder head in-
stalled on the engine.
