The indicator light changes from green
to red.
The parking brake is not applied if the
engine was switched off while the vehicle was
still rolling. Automatic Hold is disabled.
During an engine stop due to the Auto Start Stop
function, Automatic Hold remains activated.
Removing the remote control
To avoid the risk of children releasing the
parking brake, always take the remote control
with you when you leave the car.◀
Malfunction
If the parking brake fails or malfunctions, secure
the vehicle against rolling away, for example with
a chock, if you leave the vehicle.

Turn indicator
Indicating
Press the lever beyond the resistance point.
To cancel the signal manually, press the lever as
far as the resistance point.
If the indicator light flashes more rapidly than
usual, a turn indicator bulb has failed.
During trailer towing, the light might also indi‐
cate failure of one of the turn signal lights of the
trailer.
Triple turn signal
Press the lever as far as the resistance point.
The turn indicator flashes three times.
This function can be enabled or disabled.

Indicating a turn briefly
Press the lever as far as the resistance point and
hold it there for as long as you wish to indicate a
turn.
