You can select from the following tone
options:
>
Volume distribution on the left/right
side ("Balance"):
Volume higher/lower on left or right
side
>
Front/rear volume distribution
("Fader"):
Volume higher/lower at rear/front
>
"Treble":
Amplifies or attenuates high notes
>
"Bass":
Amplifies or attenuates low notes
The tone settings (treble and bass)
are source-specific, i. e. they can
be adjusted separately for the radio,
cassette and CD changer

. When the
audio source is changed, the tone set-
tings last used for the new audio source
are established.

Adjusting tone settings
1. Call up the tone setting
2. Select the desired tone setting
3. Turn right-hand rotary control until
the desired setting is obtained.
The display goes out about eight
seconds after the last adjustment
step. The modified settings are
stored automatically.
Resetting the tone settings
You can reset the tone settings for the
current audio source (radio, cassette or
CD changer

) to the central settings.
Hold pressed in for longer than two
seconds.
