3. If visible, press down the latch top until
it is flat and even with the top of the
Navigator IV and mount to ensure the
device is secure.

CauTioN: Before driving, ensure that the
latch top on the mount is flat and that the
device is secure.
NoTe: Remove the Navigator IV from
the motorcycle mount before connecting
a battery charger to your motorcycle. See
page 40 .
Mounting Your Navigator IV
in an Automobile
The automotive mount is included with the
optional car kit.
1. Plug the automotive power cable into the
power connector on the right side of the
cradle.

2. Place the friction mount on the
dashboard.
3. Slide the mount arm into the friction
mount.

4. Slide the locking lever into the locked
position.
5. Snap the cradle onto the friction mount
pivot arm.
6. Fit the bottom of your Navigator IV into
the cradle.
