Storage compartment open

Accident hazard
Stop as soon as possible and
check the storage compart-
ment lock.
Do not drive with the storage
compartment open.
Close the storage compart-
ment (BMW Flexcase).
Outside temperature
warning
Ice crystal symbol appears
on the display.
Possible cause:
The ambient temperature mea-
sured at the vehicle is lower than
37 °F (3 °C).
WARNING
Danger of black ice even
above 37 °C (3 °C), despite
the lack of ice warning.
Risk of accident due to black ice.
At a low outside temperature,
icy conditions must expected
on bridges and in shady road
areas.
Think well ahead when driving.
