To install the GPS aerial

Secure the GPS aerial (1) to the GPS aerial holder 

(4) using two expanding rivets (3).

The mounting points for the GPS aerial 

holder (4) are marked in the instrument panel 

(50). During the installation process ensure 

that you do not miss the mounting points 

since otherwise you will damage the 

instrument panel (50).

Secure the GPS aerial holder (4) with the fitted 

GPS aerial (1) to the instrument panel (50) using 

two hexagonal screws (plastic) (2).

To make the installation easier remove the air 

nozzle (51) in the instrument panel (50).

Connect branch 

F1

, coaxial plug casing on the 

aerial extension for the GPS aerial

 to the coaxial 

socket casing (52) on the connection cable for the 

GPS aerial (1) and secure it to the GPS aerial 

holder (4) with a cable tie (10).

Then lay aerial extension for the GPS aerial 

E

 with 

branch 

E2

 behind the instrument panel (50) under 

the carpet along the cardan tunnel to the rear to 

the installation site of the navigation computer in 

the side section at the rear left and secure it with 

textile adhesive tape or cable ties (10).
