Possible cause:
The ABS control unit has de-
tected an error. The ABS func-
tion is not available.
You may continue riding. Ob-
serve additional information on
special conditions that can lead
to an ABS fault memory entry
(
134).
Have the malfunction corrected
as soon as possible at a spe-
cialist workshop, preferably an
authorized BMW Motorrad re-
tailer.
ABS Pro failure
ABS indicator and warning
light lights up.
ABS Pro failure! On-
ward journey possi-
ble. Ride carefully to
next specialist workshop.
Possible cause:
The monitoring of the ABS Pro
function has detected a fault.
The ABS Pro function is not
available. The ABS function re-
mains available. ABS only sup-
ports braking in straight-ahead
riding.
You may continue riding. Ob-
serve additional information on
special situations which can
lead to an ABS Pro fault mem-
ory entry (
134).
Have the malfunction corrected
as soon as possible at a spe-
cialist workshop, preferably an
authorized BMW Motorrad re-
tailer.
DTC intervention
DTC indicator light flashes
rapidly.
The DTC has detected
impending instability at the
rear wheel and responded
by reducing the torque. The
indicator light flashes longer
than the DTC intervention lasts.
This feature continues to furnish
the rider with visual feedback
confirming that the system has
initiated active closed-loop
intervention even after the critical
situation has passed.
DTC self-diagnosis not
completed
DTC indicator light flashes
slowly.
