Tire pressure
with tire pressure monitor
(TPM)

In addition to the
MY VEHICLE
menu window and the Check
Control messages, there is also
the
TIRE PRESSURE
window to
display the tire pressures:
The values on the left relate to
the front wheel and the values on
the right relate to the rear wheel.
The pressure differential is dis-
played via the actual and nominal
tire pressure.
Immediately after switching on
the ignition, only dashes are dis-
played. The transfer of the tire
pressure values does not be-
gin until the following minimum
speed is exceeded for the first
time:
RDC sensor is not active
min 19 mph (min 30 km/h)
(The RDC sensor transmits its
signal to the vehicle only once
the minimum speed has been
exceeded.)
The tire pressures
are shown in the TFT
display with temperature
compensation and are always
based on the following tire air
temperature:
68 °F (20 °C)
If the tire symbol appears
yellow or red at the same
time, the display is a warning.
The pressure differential is high-
lighted with an exclamation mark
of the same color.
If the level concerned is
borderline in terms of the
permissible tolerance, the general
warning light also lights up yel-
low.
If the monitored tire pres-
sure is outside the specified
range, the general warning light
will flash red.
