Remove screws 1 .
Loosen the holder 2 from the
bracket 3 and remove it.
Lift the battery 4 up and out;
use tilting movements if it is
difficult to move.
Installing the battery
NOTICE
If the vehicle has been discon-
nected from the battery for a
long time, the current date must
be entered in the instrument
cluster to make sure the service
display is working properly.
Place battery 4 in battery com-
partment, positive terminal on
right in direction of travel.
Insert the holder
2 in the
bracket 3 and install.
Install screws 1 .

Replacing fuses
ATTENTION
Bypassing defective fuses
Risk of short circuit and fire
Do not bypass defective fuses.
Replace defective fuses with
new fuses.
Switch off ignition.
Park motorcycle. Ensure that
the ground is firm and level.
