Set the height of the rear-
wheel stand to raise the rear
wheel slightly clear of the
ground.
Engage the rear-wheel stand in
the rear wheel swinging arm
and apply even pressure to
push it down to the ground.
Front-wheel stand
Installing the front-wheel
stand
The front wheel stand is
not designed to support
the motorcycle without the rear-
wheel stand. A motorcycle rest-
ing only on the front wheel stand
and the rear wheel can topple.
Place the motorcycle on the rear-
wheel stand before lifting the
front wheel with the front-wheel
stand.
The motorcycle can topple
and fall on its side.
Secure motorcycle against top-
pling; this is best done with the
support of a 2nd person.
Lift the motorcycle, preferably
with a BMW Motorrad rear-
wheel stand.
Install the rear-wheel stand
