IGNITION WITH KEY-
LESS RIDE
with Keyless Ride

Radio-operated key
The indicator light for the
radio-operated key flashes
as long as the radio-operated
key is being searched for.
If the radio-operated key or the
spare key is detected, it goes
out.
If the radio-operated key or the
spare key is not detected, it
lights up briefly.
You are provided with one
radio-operated key and one
spare key. If you lose your keys,
refer to the notes regarding the
electronic immobilizer (EWS)
The ignition and anti-theft
alarm system are activated with
the radio-operated key. The
locks of the hump cover and
fuel cap are manually operated.
If the range of the radio-
operated key is exceeded,
the vehicle cannot be started.
If the radio-operated key con-
tinues to be missing, the igni-
tion will be switched off after
approx. 1.5 minutes to protect
the battery charge.
It is advisable to carry the ra-
dio-operated key directly on
your person (e.g. in a jacket
pocket) and to also carry the
spare key as an alternative.
