Adjusting mirrors
Move mirror into desired posi-
tion by twisting.
Adjusting mirror arm
Slide protective cap up over
screw connection on mirror
arm.
Loosen nut
1 with tool from
vehicle tools.
Turn mirror arm into desired
position.
Tighten nut
1
while holding
mirror arm firmly.
Mirror (locknut) on
adapter
16 lb/ft (22 Nm) (Left-hand
thread)
Slide protective cap over
threaded fastener.
Headlight
Headlight adjustment,
right-hand/left-hand
traffic
This motorcycle's headlight fea-
tures a symmetrical low beam.
No special measures are required
prior to operating the motorcycle
in a country where traffic travels
on the side of the road oppo-
site to that of your home coun-
try (left-hand drive to right-hand
drive or vice versa).
Headlight beam throw and
spring preload
The headlight beam throw gener-
ally remains constant due to the
adjustment of the spring preload
to the load status.
