Press button 1 repeatedly until the desired
riding mode 2 is displayed.
When at a vehicle standstill, the selected
riding mode is activated after approx.
2 seconds.
The new riding mode is activated while
the vehicle is in motion under the follow-
ing conditions:
Throttle grip is at idle position.
Brake is not engaged.
with speed control

Additionally, for vehicles with cruise con-
trol:
Cruise control is deactivated.
The riding mode that is set and its corre-
sponding adaptations of engine charac-
teristics, ASC control and dynamic engine
brake control are also retained after the ig-
nition is switched off.

Switching on the cruise control
Slide switch 1 to the right.
Button 2 is unlocked.
Storing speed
Briefly press button 1 forwards.
Adjustment range of the cruise con-
trol (gear-dependent)
12...112 mph (20...180 km/h)
The indicator light for cruise control
illuminates.
The motorcycle maintains your current
cruising speed and the setting is saved.
Accelerating
Briefly press button 1 forwards.
Speed is increased by 1 mph (1.6 km/h)
each time the button is pressed.
Press button 1 forward and hold.
The speed increases continuously.
If button 1 is no longer pressed, the speed
reached is maintained and saved.
