Replacing fuses
ATTENTION
Bypassing defective fuses
Risk of short circuit and fire
Do not bypass defective fuses.
Replace defective fuses with new fuses.
Switching off ignition (

Park motorcycle. Ensure that the ground is
firm and level.
Removing fairing bracket, right (
Press lock

on both sides.
Pull off the fuse box

If the fuses blow frequently, have the
electrical system checked by an autho-
rized specialized workshop, preferably an
authorized BMW Motorrad retailer.
Replace defective fuse in accordance with
following fuse assignment diagram.
