Remove screws 4 and retaining
bracket.
Lift the battery up and out;
work it slightly back and forth
if it is difficult to remove.

Disconnect negative battery
cable

Remove protective cap 2 and
disconnect positive battery
cable for intelligent emergency
call
3 together with positive
battery cable 4 .
Remove screws 5 and retaining
bracket.
Lift the battery up and out;
work it slightly back and forth
if it is difficult to remove.
Installing battery
Place the battery in the battery
compartment, positive terminal
on the right in the forward dir-
ection of travel.
