Activating ABS function
Press and hold down ABS but-
ton
1 .
ABS warning light goes out;
if self-diagnosis has not
completed it starts flashing.
Release the ABS button within
five seconds.
The ABS warning light remains
off or continues to flash.
The ABS function is activated.
Instead of pressing the ABS
button, you have the option of
switching the ignition off and
then on again.
If you switch the ignition off
then on again and the ABS
light comes back on, there is a
fault in the ABS.
Grip heating
1 Grip-heating switch
The handlebar grips have two-
stage heating. Stage two is for
heating the grips quickly: it is ad-
visable to switch back to stage
one as soon as the grips are
warm.
The handlebar-grip heat-
ing places a strain on the
battery. Do not switch on the
grip heating unless the engine is
running.
1 Switch thumbed to right:
Heating off.
2 Switch centred: 50% heat-
ing power
3 Switch thumbed to left:
100% heating power
