Device Manager
The Device Manager enables you
to make additional settings. The
Device Manager is available to
download free of charge from
the BMW Motorrad website. You
can use the Device Manager to
download the latest firmware to
the BMW Motorrad Fit-for-All
communication system.
Language settings
The default language for voice
output is English. The Device
Manager enables you to change
the language setting.
Reset to factory defaults
You can use the Device Manager
to reset the BMW Motorrad Fit-
for-All communication system to
the factory default settings.
You also have the option of using
the Configuration menu to reset
the BMW Motorrad Fit-for-All
communication system to the
factory default settings.
Sidetone
A sidetone is the sound of your
own voice picked up by the
mike and echoed directly back
to you through the speakers
in the headset. A sidetone can
be useful for estimating the
correct volume for intercom
conversations. Sidetone is
activated by default and cant
be deactivated in the Device
Manager. Alternatively, you
can change the sidetone by
selecting "Sidetone" from the
Configuration menu.
