board vehicle tool kit.

Turn adjustment wheel coun-
terclockwise as far as it will go.
(One-up without load)
Turn adjustment wheel coun-
terclockwise as far as possi-
ble, then 20 turns clockwise.
(One-up with load)
Turn adjuster wheel clockwise
as far as it will go. (Two-up
and load)
Refit the onboard vehicle tool
kit.

Setting
Damping must be adjusted to
the road condition and the spring
preload.
A rough road requires softer
damping than a smooth road.
An increase in spring preload
requires firmer damping, a re-
duction in spring preload re-
quires softer damping.
Adjusting damping at rear
wheel
Park motorcycle. Ensure that
the ground is firm and level.
Adjust damping via the adjust-
ing screw
