EMC-RELATED INFORMATION
The products in the CLAVIA range are suitable for use in all healthcare establishments, with the
exception of facilities in the vicinity of HF ELECTROSURGICAL APPLIANCES, or near an
electromagnetically shielded room for an EM magnetic resonance imaging system, in which the
intensity of EM INTERFERENCES is high.
The products in the CLAVIA range are not suitable for use in domestic homes or establishments
or on any premises connected to the public low-voltage network supplying domestic buildings.
EM interference could cause the product to make unexpected movements.
This appliance should not be used next to, or stacked on other appliances as this could lead
to incorrect operation. If this mode of operation is necessary, this and the other appliances
should be observed to ensure their correct operation.
The use of accessories, transducers or cables other than those specified or supplied by the
manufacturer can lead to an increase in electromagnetic emissions, or a decrease in this
appliance’s immunity, causing inappropriate operation.
Do not use portable RF communication devices (including peripherals such as antenna
cables and external antennas) less than 30 cm (12 inches) from any part of products in the
CLAVIA range, including the cables specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, the
performance of these devices could be impaired.
The emission characteristics of this equipment make it suitable for use in industrial areas
and hospitals (CISPR 11, class A). If used in a residential environment (for which compliance
with the CISPR 11 class B standard is generally required), this equipment may not provide
appropriate protection to radio frequency communication services. The user may need to
take attenuation steps, such as moving or re-orienting the equipment.
