Management of alarms and malfunctions
• If there is no water flowing into the unit, the payment display will show the
following message:
ALARM PORTION
CONTROL
In such cases, the unit cannot dispense water.
To restore normal functionality, check that all of the manual inlet valves are open,
that the mains supply is working and that there are no blockages of any sort on
the tubes of the unit.
• If the working CO
2
pressure is insufficient, the display will show the following
message:
NO FIZZ WATER
ONLY STILL WATER
In such cases, the unit can dispense still water but cannot dispense sparkling
water.
Check the pressure reducer on the CO
2
cylinder to ensure that the cylinder is not
empty and that the working pressure is higher than 2.5 bar (the recommended
pressure is 3.5 bar).
• If, when selecting any quantity of sparkling water, the nozzle emits only CO
2
and not water, this means that the unit’s pump is not working properly.
The cause of this problem could be that there is insufficient water flow at the
inlet. If the inlet flow is reduced and the normal flow level is not restored within 4
minutes, the electronic circuit protects the internal pump by cutting off the power
supply to it. Check that there has been no interruption to, or reduction of, the
mains water service and that the water flow at the inlet has not been reduced by
blockages of any sort (e.g. due to an excess use of carbon filters at the inlet or
due to the choking of the tube). Remove the blockage (e.g. change the filters or
change the tube) and/or reduce the outlet flow (using the screws on the outlet
valve). Last of all, reset the unit by turning it off and then back on using the main
power switch located internally.
• If the unit dispenses water without any dispensing button having been
pressed, the AUTOFLUSHING function has probably been activated (see section
“5. Additional functions”, page 25). This function automatically dispenses 3
litres of still water and 0.5 litres of sparkling water if no water has been dispensed
for a continuous period of 6 hours, with a view to avoiding bacterial proliferation.
Wait around 2 minutes for the operation to complete. The unit will then return to
stand-by mode.
