R O U T I N E O P E R A T I O N

Shut Down (Turn Off) Procedure

Follow the steps below to stop and turn off the bus:

1. Press the service brake pedal until the vehicle has come to a complete stop.

2. Engage the parking brake while continuing to press the service brake pedal.

Push the neutral (N) button on the selector panel.

4. Then release the service brake pedal.

5. Turn the ignition key to “OFF”.

6. Remove the key from the ignition switch. Once the key has been taken out, it may take 10 seconds for the system to

shut off completely.

Note: Do NOT leave the key in the ignition, even in the OFF position. It may drain the 12 volt battery
