INSTALLATION
This section of the owner’s manual is for the use of qualified
service technicians only. Fireplace placement, hearths, and
venting terminations will be covered, as well as the gas and
electrical systems. Please read “SAFETY PRECAUTIONS” at the
front of this manual.
INITIAL SETUP
1. Remove the top lid assembly from appliance and set it aside.
2. There are two door latch mechanisms on the top of the glass
door.(

) Pull the tabs forward and up off the door tabs.
3. Carefully slide the door glass assembly up and out of the
appliance(
Fig.9
).
NOTE: REMOVE THE STATIC CLING
LABEL THAT IS ON THE DOOR GLASS
. Hold glass to
frame when removing as it is only held in place with silicone.
Set the door aside.
4. Slide the safety screen up and out from appliance and set
aside.(

5.
Remove packaged contents from firebox and unwrap,
one package contains the floor glass, the other contains
the side panels.
HANDLE GLASS CAREFULLY BY THE
EDGES, DO NOT LEAVE FINGERPRINTS, CLEAN IF
NECESSARY.
Set glass panels aside in a safe place.
6.
Remove floor plate assembly from appliance and set aside.
