Bypassing a traffic jam during navigation
Alongside the ability to automatically bypass traffic jams with the aid of the dy-
namic navigation feature, the TravelPilot E also gives you the option of manually
entering traffic jams or blocked sections of road during an active navigation ses-
sion.
To bypass a traffic jam, proceed as follows:

Press and hold down the NAV button

for longer than 2 seconds.

A selection menu appears in the display.

Mark and confirm the

menu item.

The traffic jam menu appears in the display.

Turn the menu knob

to set the distance to the end of the traffic jam rela-
tive to your current position.

The navigation session display appears again and the route is recalculated.
Note: If necessary, the system will ask you to insert the navigation
CD-ROM.
Cancelling the traffic jam bypass feature
