To turn off the handheld when the Auto On/Off feature is
enabled
If you turn off your handheld using the
Power
button, the handheld turns on
again at the specified Auto On time. Calendar reminders and Alarm notifications
also turn on your handheld.
If you turn off your handheld by, on the Home screen, clicking the
Turn Power
Off
icon when the Auto On/Off feature is enabled, you are prompted to select one
of the following options:
•
Auto Off
: Select this option if you want the handheld to turn on again at the
specified Auto On time. Calendar reminders and Alarm notifications also
turn on your handheld.
•
Power off:
Select this option if you want to turn the handheld off completely.
Calendar reminders and Alarm notifications do not turn on the handheld. If
you select
Power Off
, you must press the
Power
button to turn the handheld
on again.

Using SIM card security
You can enable or disable SIM card security and change your SIM card’s PIN
code.
Warning:
If an incorrect PIN code is typed three times, your SIM card no longer
functions. To use your handheld again, you must ask your service provider or network
operator for the personal unblock key (PUK) for your SIM card.
