Initialize (/I)
Tests the PM Switch’s internal memory and initializes the system with the
default parameters specified by the SETUP switch configuration.
CAUTION!
When the /I command is invoked, the PM Switch will revert to the
parameters specified by the SETUP switch configuration. Any command-
selected parameters will be lost.
Command Availability:
All (Administrator)
Command Format:
/I[/Y] [Enter]
where /Y [optionally] suppresses the “SURE? (Y/N)” prompt.
PM Switch Response:
Verbose: “SURE? (Y/N)”; if you then enter “Y,” the Switch will begin
the memory test and initialization sequence.
Terse: “5”; if you then enter “Y,” the Switch will begin the memory test
and initialization sequence.
Enter Site ID (/F)
When your application involves communication with several PM Switch units,
the Site I.D. can be used to indicate the location or name of each unit. The
Site I.D. message can be up to 32 characters long, and cannot include
nonprintable ASCII codes such as nulls and line feeds.

All (Administrator)
Command Format:
/F [Enter]
PM Switch Response:
(Verbose and Terse) “ENTER SITE ID.”
Read Site ID (/J)
Displays the user-defined Site I.D. message.
Command Availability:
All (Administrator) / Basic (User)
