WARNING
Do not connect signal ground to chassis ground on
more than one location in order to prevent ground
loops and potentially high currents. See the illustration

3.3 Configuring the USB Director USB-RS422/RS485 Hub
2-Port (IC160A)
This hub, which supports both RS-422 and RS-485, also
has two sets of eight-position DIP switches, one set for
each serial port. Figure 3-2 shows what each switch
selects in its ON and OFF positions. Consult Figure 3-3
for various configuration options.
