2. Overview

2.1 Introduction

The Optical Break Locator is a high-performance fiber fault locator used to detect 
a fiber fault location in single-mode fiber and display the exact  
distance on the LCD. The unit is palm-sized, lightweight, easy to carry, and simple 
to operate. Use it for fiber installation, detection, and maintenance.

2.2 What’s Included

Your package should include the following items. If anything is missing or  
damaged, contact Black Box Technical Support at 724-746-5500.

• Main unit

• Carrying case                                                 

• (2) NiMH batteries, (type AA)
