3.5 RS-485
The RS-485 control port can be used for connection to devices with RS-485 communi-
cation. This allows serial communication to be extended to devices at distances up to
4000 feet (1250 m) by balancing the TX and RX lanes.
The default settings for the RS-485 port are:
- 4-wire full duplex
- 57600 baud
- Data Bits: 8
- Stop Bits: 1
- Parity: None
