SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic
safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Read all instructions carefully.

Avoid touching hot surfaces — use
handles or knobs. Avoid hot steam
escaping from the Vent in the Lid.

To protect against electrical hazards, do
not allow water or other liquids to spill on-
to the plug or cord, or to enter the switch
mechanism or power cord inlet socket. Do
no immerse these parts, or the body of the
Cooker in water or other liquids.

Always use Rice Cooker on a dry, level
surface. Never put liquid into the outer
pot, only into the Inner Bowl.

Lift and open cover carefully to avoid
scalding and allow water from
condensation to drip into the Cooking Bowl.

Close supervision is necessary when an
electrical appliance is used by, or near
children.

Turn OFF and unplug from outlet when not
in use; allow to cool before disassembling
parts and before cleaning.

Extreme caution must be used when
moving an appliance containing hot water
or other liquids.

Do no operate any appliance with a
damaged cord or plug, or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been
dropped, or damaged in any manner.
Return the complete appliance to your
nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.

The use of attachments not
recommended or sold by the appliance
manufacturer may cause hazards.

Do not place any part of this appliance on
or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in
a heated oven.

Always attach the cord to the inlet socket
on the Cooker first, then plug into an outlet.
To disconnect, turn power OFF and remove
plug from power point first.

Do not use appliance for other than
intended use of food preparation and
service. This appliance is intended for
household use only.

Do not use outdoors.

Keep the space between the Inner Bowl
and the heating plate clean and free from
any foreign particles.
