31.14.1
Principle of the tendency control
The mean value is continuously calculated via the "Number of Pckg. for mean value" that
is entered. If the calculated mean value exceeds the "Tol" or falls below the "Tol-
erance -", a control factor is calculated and output.
After sending the control factor, the package number entered under "Neutral path" is ignor-
ed. Afterwards, a mean value is formed from the following packages. After starting the
dosing device, a mean value is calculated once the number of packages has been entered
under "Start delay".
31.14.2
Overview of tendency control parameters
The following overview shows all the possible attributes in a tendency
control parameter table. Which attributes can actually be managed in
your tendency control parameter tables depends on how the database
is configured.
The configuration of the database is not subject of this documentation.
Please contact your Bizerba consultant or Bizerba Service for further in-
formation.
"Target weight":
The package weight that should be attained with the help of the
tendency control. Depending on the filling system, the target
weight may be greater or smaller than the nominal weight.
"Number of Pckg. for
mean value":
Number of packages whose weight is used to calculate the
mean value for regulating the control device.
"Upper limit", "Lower lim-
it":
Packages not within the specified upper and lower limit are not
used to calculate the mean value (outliers).
"Tol", "Toler-
ance -":
If the mean value of the package weight is within this tolerance
range, the tendency control is not applied.
"Start delay":
Number of packages that are not used to calculate the mean
value once the process has been started.
"Neutral path":
Number of packages that are not used to calculate the mean
value after regulation has been applied.
"Ctrl factor":
Specification which signal the control device requires to change
the mean value, e. g. by 1 g.

bles for editing

control parameter number, see page 77.
