15.4.3 Enter or change the date text for the current labeling job
The date text that is entered as described below applies until the next change or until a
different date text is opened, for example when the PLU is changed.
Example: Date text 1.The procedure for date texts 2 and 3 is the same.
Mode level: 2
Change date text
<Texts> / <Date texts>
Select the date text field you want to edit, for example <Date text field 1>.
Edit text in the text editor, see page 167.
Close text editor via <Exit>.
The text appears in the softkey and is used as of the next labeling job.
If necessary, you can use this function to have entered date text saved
to the database. Use the <Save> function in the text editor, see
page 184.
To save to the database you need the password for mode level 3 (save
locally) or 4 (save globally).
15.4.4 Delete date text
Mode level: 3 (local) or 4 (global)
<Date text> / <Delete date text>
Enter and confirm date text number, see page 77.
In order to finally delete the Date text, reply to security query with <yes>.
15.5 Managing PLU texts
The PLU text is displayed in the text field on the display and on the labels. The article can
be searched via the article text. Usually you have to update the PLU text via the PLU data,
see page 137. The PLU text for the currently open PLU is displayed on the softkey
<Article text>.
With this function you can enter or change the PLU text for the current labeling job directly.
Mode level: 1 or 2
Edit PLU text for the current labeling job
Mode level 1: <Etc> / <Texts> / <Etc> / <Article text>
or
Mode level 2: <Texts> / <Article text>
The current PLU text appears in the text editor.
