Elastomer elements of the coupling
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to defective elastomer
elements!
Carefully check the elastomer elements during
each maintenance work and replace them if ne-
cessary.
7.5.1
Checking the elastomer elements for wear
Check the elastomer elements of the coupling for wear
after 3 months for the first time and then every year.
Observe the information in the operating instructions of
the coupling manufacturer!
• Turn both clutch halves without torque against each
other to the stop.
• Mark both halves.
• Turn clutch halves also without torque to the other
direction to the stop.
• Measure radial distance between the two marks.
• Replace all elastomer elements if the distance is
more than 4 mm.

Roller bearings and ball bearings
DANGER
Risk of explosion due to wear of roller/ball bear-
ings!
Check the bearings at regular intervals (main-
tenance intervals see SW-110) and replace
them if necessary.
When running noises can be heard, replace the
bearings!
