On the bottom side of the device there are two hook and loop fasteners with which you can fasten the
device to the lid of the power cord compartment of the Renamic. Furthermore, a self-adhesive cable
holder is included in the package contents for attaching the USB cable close to the Renamic housing.
These aids enable you to attach the device to the Renamic for transportation so that you can transport
DataBridge and the Renamic as one unit.
1.
Clean the power cord compartment lid.
Proceed as described in the Renamic technical manual.
2.
Position DataBridge over the power cord compartment lid and find a suitable position for the hook
and loop fasteners.
3.
Peel off the protective films of the hook and loop fasteners.
4.
Check the suitable position and attach DataBridge to the lid using the adhesive surfaces.
5.
Find a suitable place for the cable holder on the housing side of the Renamic (e.g., above the USB
port used).
6.
Clean this surface as well.
7.
Peel off the protective film from the adhesive surface of the cable holder.
8.
Position the cable holder and attach it to the Renamic.
9.
Clamp the USB cable into the cable holder. Make sure that the cable is not subjected to tensile
stress and that it is as close to the Renamic as possible.
