Filter Cubes
Synergy LX
models with fluorescence and luminescence capabilities are equipped with a
filter cube that contains an excitation filter, an emission filter, and a mirror. The filter cube
is accessed through the upper door on the front of the instrument. Each filter cube has an
ID label that displays the filter cube’s contents. You must have a filter cube installed to
perform a fluorescence or luminescence read.
Configure a Filter Cube
For models with fluorescence/luminescence capability only
Filter Cube (F models)
. The reader’s internal filter cube table
must exactly match the contents of the installed filter cube.
Gen5 users: The Gen5 software filter cube table must exactly
match the contents of the filter cube.
If you exchange the filter cube or modify its contents, you
must update the filter cube table(s).
The filter cube is accessed through a hinged door in the front
of the instrument. Do not open the door to access the filter
cube during instrument operation! Doing so may result in
invalid data.
If necessary, disconnect the USB cable to regain access to touchscreen control.
