Clean Exterior Surfaces
Exposed surfaces may be cleaned (not decontaminated) with a cloth moistened
(not soaked) with water or water and a mild detergent. You’ll need:
Deionized or distilled water
Clean, lint-free cotton cloths
Mild detergent (optional)
To clean the exposed surfaces:
1.
Important!
Turn off and unplug the instrument.
2.
Moisten a clean cotton cloth with water, or with water and mild detergent.
Do not soak the cloth
.
3.
Wipe the plate carrier and all exposed surfaces of the instrument.
4.
If detergent was used, wipe all surfaces with a cloth moistened with water.
5.
Use a clean, dry cloth to dry all wet surfaces.

Clean Priming Trough and Drain Hose
Remove the priming trough, priming trough insert, and the priming trough drain hose
and soak them in warm water and a mild detergent. You’ll need:
Deionized or distilled water
Clean, lint-free cotton cloths
Mild detergent
To clean these accessories:
1.
Important!
Turn off and unplug the instrument.
2.
Remove the drain tube from the priming trough and waste container.
3.
Slide the prime trough towards you and away from the dispenser.
4.
Soak the trough, trough insert and drain tube in hot sudsy water for at least a
half hour.
5.
Rinse them thoroughly, and wipe the exterior surfaces with a clean, dry cloth.
