If you purchased a DVM06U3 storage system without preinstalled disk drives, you must add disk drives into
your storage before you use it. Default pre-installation is six 2.5
” SATA drives configured as a RAID 6
volume.
If you use disks that are not supported, our technical support will not provide assistance. For a list of
supported disks, see the Qualified HDD List on our website.
On our website, we also include the compatible USB3.1 Gen2 host list.
