2.2.3
Compressed Air
The facility may not have a compressed air supply available to the chamber for
operation of the door seal pneumatics. One available option is for the system to
include an onboard compressed air system.
2.2.4
Air Purge Boost (APB)
If the chamber has an optional Air Purge Boost system installed then a fan will
draw air into the chamber and a valve system will direct the air either through
the chamber or bypass directly to the extract duct.
Note: APB will always require a dedicated extract.
2.2.5
HVAC
If the facility has an HVAC system connected, the chamber will be supplied with
inlet and outlet connection points.
2.2.6
Ceiling Mounted Aeration Unit
Optional aeration functionality can be supplied by a ceiling mounted aeration unit
(Aeroflow 2000).

2.2.7
Floor Standing Aeration Unit
Aeration functionality can alternatively be supplied by a floor standing aeration
unit, for example the Aeroflow R2 or Bioquell R-10. Additional power sockets can
be supplied if required.
Additionally mains sockets are provided
for equipment which requires to be
powered during bio-decontamination
and for floor mounted aeration units.
