MAINTENANCE
6.1
Cleaning
The Bioquell WIC exterior surfaces are manufactured from stainless steel 304 or
316 (as applicable), Phenolic Resin doors and glass.
Cleaning of the WIC should be carried out typically on a daily basis (subject to the
cleaning regime of its area of use).
To keep the Bioquell WIC clean the following procedure is recommended:
1.
Use a damp cloth of a mild detergent solution (non-abrasive)
2.
Wipe the external / internal surfaces taking care not to soak the control
panel area, generator connections or fans
3.
Dry surfaces with a lint free cloth.
Note: Chlorine based cleaning products MUST NOT be used to clean the
WIC.
Screen
The screen can be wiped over once the “clean screen” button is pressed to ensure
that no adjustment of the screen is done whilst cleaning.
Navigate to this button via Main menu
>> System Admin >> Screen
Management.
Password access (ADMINISTRATOR or
above) is required to enter the System
Admin menu.
Press “Clean screen” button. The
Operator is given a preset time to wipe
over the screen.
6.2
Scheduled Maintenance
SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE SHOULD ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY
TRAINED PERSONNEL
It is recommended that planned maintenance be carried out by fully trained and
Bioquell authorised Service personnel on an annual basis to maintain the safety
and efficiency of the system. The service interval is dependent upon Clients usage
and requirements. Only genuine replacement parts supplied by a Bioquell Service
Provider must be used to ensure safe operation.
The planned and preventative maintenance schedule includes inspections;
calibration of instrumentation; replacement of parts; functional checks,
adjustments and tests. Calibration dates are set and certificates issued.
