Adding New Users
In the displayed boxes enter the
user’s name and password.
The ‘Description’ box may be left
blank or a reference may be
added.
The User name must be unique. The password must contain a minimum of 3
alphanumeric characters.
Note: Only the first 24 characters of the user name will
be displayed and printed
.
Select ‘Next’ to proceed to the next screen or ‘Cancel’ to return to the
Administration Page.
Select the access level the new
user is to be given. (Select only
one).
There are three user groups that a person can be put in; these are listed below:
OPERATOR
Someone in this group can operate, start and
stop a pre-programmed cycle, transfer a
cycle; otherwise have only viewing rights.
SUPERVISOR
Someone in this group can do as the
OPERATOR and also change the language.
ADMINISTRATOR Someone in this group can do as the
SUPERVISOR and also, has access to manage
the passwords; this includes setting-up new
users, re-setting passwords, and assigning
user groups to the user. In addition they can
edit, create and delete recipes (cycles), and
change the time and date.
NO USER
No user is logged in. Access to the Home Page
is permitted, but all navigation keys are
disabled
