3. Network
Network Overview
When you connect the monitor to the network, you can access patient information from EMR server.
In continuous mode, you can use BM Central. BM Central connects the monitors to the central
station and each device to provide various monitoring functions. For more information of BM Central
Station, please refer to the BM Central Station User Guide.
With the Remote Control feature in BM Central, you can perform the following tasks on a patient
monitor that can be remotely controlled from a central station.
Start recording
Modify alarm limit
Alarm Mute
Print the current monitor screen using a laser printer through network
Enter, edit and view patient data
Network Connection
In a network, data can be exchanged over wired or wireless technology. All data interfaces (e.g. RS-
232, LAN, USB interface) described in the standard and convention can be network. This device can
exchange information with other devices through the network during operation and supports the
following functions.
Display waveform and parameter data
Alarm signal
Device setup and transmission of patient data
