6.4.5 Entry in case of a personal branch extension with local loop
If the TWG 01 is connected to an extension system (PABX system: Personal Automatic Branch
Exchange) or to an ISDN a/b exchanger, the number of the local loop (e.g., “0”) must be entered before
the dialing tone appears (mode 0, extension function).

During phone number entry you can enter the local loop number directly followed by the phone number
digits. When dialing, having dialed the local loop number, the TWG 01 will now wait for the dialing tone
before proceeding with the phone number
The key 0 to activate the extension function is
not
the number of the local loop itself which
incidentally could be 0 as well. You need to enter the number of the local loop during phone
number entry directly followed by the phone number digits.
