powered Security Services provide Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, and Parental
Controls. The former 2 features provide to protect your PC from potential
virus infection and spam emails. For extra protection, upon browsing
Internet, parents or caregivers can pre-define or block in User Interface
the access to website categories, such as pornography, violence or
others, a list which is dynamically updated by security service provider’s
server. To take advantage of full Trend Micro powered Security Services,
users can purchase on-line to continue to use for one year.

802.11g Wireless AP with WPA Support
The router integrated with 802.11g Wireless Access Point which
broadens 802.11b's data transmission rates from 11Mbps to 54 Mbps
within the 2.4 GHz frequency spectrum band. With backward
compatibility, any 802.11b client wireless card is also compatible with the
router. The router supports WPA feature, increasing the level of data
protection and access control for Wireless LAN. It also offers quick and
easy access among wired network, wireless network and broadband
connection (ADSL) with single device simplicity.
High Performance of Virtual Private Network
(VPN)
The router supports embedded VPN protocols, including PPTP
client/server, IPSec (IKE, 3DES and AES) and L2TP within IPSec, for
establishing a private encrypted tunnel over the public Internet to ensure
transmission security between two or more sites. With built-in and
hardware based DES/3DES accelerator, the router enhances the IPSec
VPN performance significantly.
SOHO Firewall Security with DoS and SPI
Along with the built-in NAT natural firewall feature, the router also
provides advanced hacker pattern-filtering protection. It can
automatically detect and block Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
The router is built with Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) to determine if a
data packet is allowed through the firewall to the private LAN.
URL Content Filtering
By keying in keyword or domain name of websites, URL Content Filtering
can help office administrators or families to restrict Internet browsing to
selected websites. You can also set up schedule as when to activate
URL Content Filtering. This feature is also tailored for organizations that
have needs to control Internet access policy for productivity
enhancement.
