6.7 How to prepare and power the line
To read this chapter and access this area, the PLU and labels of the
product to be weighed and labelled must have already been
programmed (consult
chap. 5. on page 1-73 ).
The line is regulated via software by means of the speed, target and
filter parameters entered in the PLU and MACHINE SETTINGS, and
depends on the product being processed. The weighing unit is calibrated
in the factory and the client need not carry out any other operations.
Before accessing the process, make sure that the scale setting is 0. If
necessary, unload the plate and reset with key ( SCALE RESET ) in
the start window.
The height of the printing/applicating unit can be regulated with the
button on the front of the electric panel.
WARNING
The printing system features functions that are regulated in
the factory. NEVER ALTER THE SETTINGS. This operation,
which is only necessary if the instrument is overhauled,
requires specialized technicians and special tools.
Power the line by means of the main switch on the electric panel.
Reset any already existing totals if they are not required prior to
beginning the process. This is done by pressing ( LIST OF OPEN
PLU ) and then ( CLOSE ALL ).
To access the process, select the PLU required by digitizing it or
scrolling with the arrows, then press ( PROCESS ) or .
Press again to quit the processing cycle.
The products to process are loaded in either the manual mode or by
means of an automatic feeding system, so long as they are always and
only loaded on the first conveyor belt of the line.
