Before the First Use

Before you use the deep fryer for the
first time please clean all individual com-
ponents thoroughly and carefully dry
them (see Chapter „Cleaning“).

Low-Acrylamide Cooking

Acrylamide is a possibly carcinogenic
substance formed from a reaction with
amino acids when frying foodstuffs with
a high starch content (at temperatures
of more than 180°C).

Therefore, if possible do not fry food-
stuffs with a high starch content, for
example chips, at temperatures above
170˚C. The foodstuffs should only be
fried to golden-yellow, instead of dark
or brown. Only in this way can you
achieve a low acrylamide level.

Frying

We recommend frying oil or liquid frying
fat for use in this deep fryer. You can
also use solid cooking fats. For this, first
read the chapter „Solid Cooking Fats“.

Preparations

1. Place the appliance on a horizontal,

level and stable surface.
