MicroPolar (++) LB 566

4.2.12 Massflow

The MASSFLOW menu appears only if two prerequisites have
been fulfilled:
1. The density unit g/cm^3 is selected for the concentration.
2. Current input 2 is enabled and m/s has been selected as

unit for current input 2.

For this case, the mass flow (throughput) in tons per hour
can be displayed and output via the current output, based on
the density reading with indication of the pipe cross-section
or the internal pipe diameter.

Massflow calculation:

Here the calculation is enabled or disabled.

Cross-sectional area:

Enter the cross-sectional area of the pipe.

Pipe inside diameter:

Enter the internal pipe diameter.

Comment: Only one entry is required: either the cross-
sectional area or the internal pipe diameter, the other pa-
rameter will be calculated automatically.

IMPORTANT

The massflow calculation is performed only at varying prod-
uct speed which must be entered via current input 2.
